Ain't No Such Thing As A Bisexual

So here we are, and we've been to this rodeo before, this time with some "expert" by the name of Dr. Qazi Rahman as interviewed for the website GayStarNews by writer Gareth Johnson in which the good doc says straight women are potentially bi and bisexual men, well you know as you bi-guys have been told by the figgits all these years we hardly if ever are the real deal.

In doing a study which involves proclaimed bi-guys viewing porn they hardly if ever get it up watching gal-on-gal action but the peter rises to new heights when watching guy-on-guy.

He also is of the opinion that straight women in his study are ready to go into orbit watching de guys, de gals and de gal with guy ergo they really aren't straight at all but bi or at least capable of being so.

Lesbians have no fear they only orbitized when watching the ladies have at it.

Of us bi-guys he says, "However the prevailing scientific view is that bisexuality in males doesn’t physiologically exist."

As far as de gay goes dey are .. but wait he also has some wisdom about the T and don't get your knickers knotted up at me, he's the one who makes the following statements.

"It’s very rare for someone to identify as trans. And the smaller the population available to study then the harder it is to identify the specific biological signals that have a material influence on the development of someone’s sexuality," says Rahman.

"Even though we don’t know a lot about the biology of trans people, we know enough to be confident that it’s not caused by social factors, that there is a biological explanation."

"There are a couple of brain studies that suggest that trans people have differences in those parts of the brain that direct an individual’s sense of gender identity - tiny neural clusters or triggers that are somehow aligned to the female gender."

"One slightly random fact is that we know that trans people are more likely to be left-handed."

Now I'm never going to look at a south-paw baseball pitcher the same way again.

Look fellow bi-guys, screw 'em, they're jealous we can get it on with any body.

Andy Williams Passes At Age 84

Another icon of my younger days has passed.

USA Today reports Andy Williams died last evening after a year long battle with bladder cancer at the age of 84.

There were certain things to look forward to at Christmas and watching the Andy Williams Christmas shows was one and hearing all his Christmas songs being played on the radio and in stores during the Christmas season.

Williams who was a "crooner" much like Perry Como had one of those distinctive voices you only had to hear about three seconds and you knew it was him.

That of course was when you could listen to a song and understand what was being sung without a lot of crashing and overbearing sound from the accompanying band or shrill, screaming or nonsensical pitter-patter lyrics.

Long gone unfortunately are the variety TV shows I grew with and of course that age of innocence in TV when someone once said of CBS-TV "they've killed all the green shows" referring to shows like The Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffith, Green Acres, Lassie and the like, real family shows in favor of All In The Family, Maude and so on leading up to the T & A era of shows like Charlie's Angels on ABC-TV.

There was no blood and gore, guys got shot in Westerns and you never saw where the bullet went in, and how did they fire so many shots from a six-shooter I always wondered as a kid. No vulgarity, networks didn't have to stand at the ready with a "bleep" button or delay switch during LIVE broadcasts in case some idiot said something or had a "wardrobe malfunction". Although I do remember well the streaker on the Oscars but the cameras were shooting waist level and up so we never saw his "short comings" as David Niven put it as he was on stage when the boo-de-aye bearing chap ran by.

Yep things were so much simpler back then, at least if you were a kid.

No wonder Conservatives in their own way would like to return America back to that time, and in many ways I agree with them and would like to say "Scotty beam me back".

Blow Me A Big Kiss My Sweet Lovey

So we have Ted Koppel discussing Faux News with the homophobic Bill O'Reilly and pointing out Faux News' bias in reporting a Conservative agenda. Of course MSNBC reports the Liberal side of bias with its talking heads and CNN tries to fall in the middle with "news reporting" rather than talking heads .. uh .. tries.

Mind you this conversation is between an award winning and respected journalist and an egotistical former school teacher who thinks that everyone bends on the hot air he blows out of his lips while opining "fair and balanced" bullshit.

Sometimes although not often it can be worth watching Faux News, but then again the good stuff usually pops up on YouTube eventually.

So here's to Koppel as he blows off the blowhard O'Reilly with an air kiss .. can it get any better ?

Yes if Koppel had farted in O'Reilly's face.

Senator McCain The Sky Didn't Fall

Remember how Senator John McCain fought long and hard (ummm .... not that way boys and girls) to keep Don't Ask Don't Tell from being repealed.

Well of course you do, if not you haven't been watching any TV and reading articles as we have now celebrated the one year anniversary of the repeal of DADT.

McCain all but said the sky would fall in, implied showers and dropping bars of soap would constitute new pay grades for hazardous duty and soldiers and sailors alike would have to barricade their bunks.

Perish the thought what might happen on submarines.

Then of course there were those dastardly lezzies to have to worry about.

Foxholes would be renamed manholes, sorties would mean unwanted schlepping up the boo-de-aye and on and on. Of course the wicked bisexuals would fuck the shit out of everyone.

A video reminder from our beloved Rachel Maddow in which she slam dunks old Ironside.
