Rob Wilson ... Come On .. um Down

So in a possible effort to .. ahem .. boost ratings The Price Is Right has added a new model.

Instead of the T & A variety we'll now have P & A or as commonly known, Pecs and Abs.

After having open auditions for male models to be part of the show and with viewers picking the final hunk, the winner is actor and model Rob Wilson.

While it's a temporary gig, it could well turn into a permanent display of manliness set next to the formerly named stable of ladies, Barker's Beauties.

Now, and in no uncertain terms is this writer suggesting that Mr. Wilson is, well you know, but what with the host of the show being gay and having fellows sitting at home in the morning why not go after de gay to boost viewership.

You can only watch Thomas Roberts on MSNBC for so long and besides he's taken now.

So why not watch some new beef in the morning to get an up start to your day.

Now a word from our sponsor, Budweiser de Queen of de Beers.

Sam Champion Out And Is Engaged

Okay so you've read or heard about this all day on Friday but it's still nice to add this bit of news to the archives of this blog of those in the media who have officially come out as proud for all to see.

And another of de gay media folks who will be having nuptials in New York City as the state of New York became one of the few places in the US where gays and lesbians can wed.

So it is Sam Champion of ABC News/Good Morning America fame will tie the knot with longtime companion Rubem Robierb this New Year's Eve.

Champion and Robierb were among the guests of MSNBC's Thomas Roberts' wedding a week ago today and apparently seeing the wedding cake or drinking some of the fine libations brought about the decision to announce they would be getting hitched and of course in doing so he "officially" came out for more than his friends and colleagues to see. Let's hope Robin Roberts will be well enough to attend and catch the bouquet.

All we need now for a trifecta is for Anderson Cooper to announce he's getting hitched but we know how that was going this summer. But there's always hope for our beloved AC.

So as I say to all I write about who come out, Welcome Home Sam, Welcome Home.

Maddow Serves After Debate Drinks

There were two things sadly missing in last evening's debate.

Audience participation and POTUS.

And the talking heads at MSNBC had to lick their liberal wounds as their dog in the fight acted like a Chihuahua with its tail tucked between its legs going up against a Great Dane.

And don't ya know some in the LGBT kingdom (particularly on FB) were complaining about no discussion of all things LGBT, although Obama did mention DADT once that I caught.

Um ... I guess they (the complainers) didn't pay attention to the format and topics which were to be discussed.

Sorry fellow Pinkies, the world and the US doesn't revolve around us in spite of what the Elites tell you.

So it is I'm sure they passed around a bottle or two at MSNBC when the debate was over and the after sparring talking head session came to a close.

As my Dad told me about when he was stationed in England while in the Air Force and when finding out the 70 odd acres of the Evans Homestead was being sold, he went to a pub and got politely pissed (drunk as we say on this side of the pond).

No Sex Change Op For Murderer

Another voice of reason has spoken out over the opposition of MA taxpayers footing the bill for a sex change op for wife murderer Robert Kosilek.

Congressman Barney Frank in an interview with MetroWeekly said the following about Kosilek's wish to convert from he to she, "I think it should be clear she has a right to present herself as a woman, and that should be honored by the prison system," Frank said, but he added that asking taxpayers to foot the bill for her surgery was a mistake. "There are other medical procedures that are denied to convicted murderers," Frank said.

This will no doubt raise the ire and ruffle the bloomers of some members of the T who look beyond the reason why Kosilek is in prison and the crime he committed and charge those (including this writer) who oppose, not the surgery itself but the idea that taxpayers should pay for it, with being transphobic.

They only see Kosilek as one of their adopted "own" and keep harping on the theme of "cruel and unusual punishment".

I wonder if they would also be speaking out in favor of Kosilek if he were a murdering pedophile which in and of itself would speak volumes as to where their priorities are when it comes to "equality for all things T". Of course how would they be able to say no as that would make them hypocrites of their "righteous cause".
