Dear Lord Please Please Make It Stop

As you good regular readers noticed I haven't posted much this past week, not because of not feeling good, nothing to opine about nor make fun of, but because my ever dying brain cells have been overcome and saturated by all the political poppie-poop of late as we head down to Election Day 2012.

I can sum up in one word from where I sit, well make it two words, what I see not only on the news, in after debate commentary, on FB and on Twitter, plus what I find reprehensible, attacks on Romney's family members.

Fucking childish !

Here we are, and supposedly taking a serious look at the two men, one of which will represent us as President, and what do I see but soundbites, talking heads and silly ass photo-shopped anti-Romney crap.

Look this isn't an endorsement one way or the other of who should be elected, that goes with me in private to the voting booth, but if the only arguments folks can throw up is references to Big Bird and the like, just shut the fuck up.

Going on FB these days is like looking at stuff that kids in kindergarten would do and think that they have just created Pulitzer Prize winning material.

I'll be glad when this comes to an end in a couple of weeks, then they can hurrah or cry like babies ... ad nauseum and just out of spite I hope they end up crying.

Below is the person I'm endorsing for President as I did in 1972 and voted for in my first opportunity to vote. Politics back then were a joy to follow compared to today.

It's Not About us But About All Of US

For about the last half hour of the debate I went on FB and Twitter and the OUTRAGE was spewing.

Those complaining of course because LGBT issues weren't brought up.

I've said it time and time again on this blog but apparently folks aren't listening .. it's all about jobs .. jobs .. jobs and the economy stupid.

In this election, regardless who you are for, it's not about us but about US ... most Americans at this point don't give a hoot about LGBTs and their issues.

They are concerned about jobs, putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their head.

And quite frankly those who I saw complaining don't need to worry about the latter things.

This community of ours has become so polarized on OUR issues and sees things political with blinders on regarding what is important to us, they don't give a hoot of what matters to others, it's no wonder the heteros would like to say to us, JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP !!!

De Bisexual Nemesis Of James Bond

So in the new James Bond flick Skyfall, the villain is Silva portrayed by Spanish hunk Javier Bardem.

The LGBT websites are tripping over their dropped undies because they report Silva is gay and tries to seduce Bond (played by Daniel Craig) while he is tied up in a chair.

Actually from the little bit I've read Silva is most likely bisexual, or it could all be just a come on to make Mr. Bond as uncomfortable as possible, but of course that doesn't work with this line from James to Silva, "What makes you think this is my first time ?".

But what if Silva is gay or bisexual, as we know, in the end, nothing good comes of the Bond villains. Which brings me to this thought.

How long before the likes of GLAAD start complaining that yet again a member of LGBT is being portrayed in a negative light, one which shows "the only good gay is a dead gay".

The clock is running, not only for Silva but for the protesting to begin .. tick .. tick .. tick.

Jealousy The Peril Of Being Bisexual

It's not often I promote a blog which I come across but Aroused Woman authored by Trish Causey is worth adding to your favorites whether you're a straight gal, lesbian, bisexual or just a guy wanting to learn more about women and the all important how to please and get along with a woman.

What brought me to Causey's website was this posting about a bisexual man telling his girlfriend about his wants and needs to full-fill being bi and the jealousy it brought about for his girlfriend, not just worrying about his want of other women, but also men.

Unless one is hooked up with another bi or an open minded partner it can cause great consternation for the unsuspecting partner when all is laid on the table about true feelings of oneself and wanting to be the real person and sexual identify one needs to be.

Causey who herself is bisexual gives the questioner of "Ask Trish" some guidance without being condescending nor judgemental. And it's worth a read if for nothing else to see how uneasy it can be for members of the L & G (and of course straight) not understanding where we B's are coming from in not only our identity but also sexual gratification.

Aroused Woman, because of photos and subject matter, is one for adults only and certainly those with an open mind on all things sexual in nature. But one which I do recommend.
