Well they did it again this time outdoing themselves to find a way, any way to put a gay spin on current news events.
After the horrific and senseless bombings in Boston during last Monday's Patriot's Day Boston Marathon the gay press found a way to put a gay spin on the news.
They promoted and salivated in delight over a cover photo taken in the aftermath of the bombing of three police officers giving aid to a fallen Marathon participant.
One of the police officers in the photo according to the gay press is an out and open gay man.
This appears to be the only reason the gay press even mentioned the bombing on their assorted blogs and websites because that officer who appeared in the photo is gay.
Had he not been gay the photo would have been a blip on their radar screen of ever needing to find de gay in everything whether newsworthy or not.
The last and least important thing about the police officer is the fact he is openly gay.
The most important thing is that he and many others including regular folks assisted others at a time of mayhem and chaos not knowing if there would be more explosions or assaults of one kind or another against those in attendance at the Marathon.
To highlight and profile the police officer only because he is gay is not only an insult to him but to all those who happen not to be gay but were all heroes on that fateful spring day in 2013 but not worth getting a keystroke.
The gay press just doesn't get it and unfortunately never will as they need to spin the news with a Rainbow flavor or if they can't, they find the news not worth reporting and appearing in the content of their media.

Sixteen Years After Ellen Comes Out
Sixteen years ago I was in my 40's and in the closet as a bi-guy when something extraordinary happened.
Comic and TV sitcom star Ellen DeGeneres came out, loud and clear that she was a lesbian.
It was still a time when those words dare not be spoken by many much less in homophobic Hollywood where for decades the LG&B kept the closet door locked not only by themselves but by agents, studios and PR departments.
Careers were on the line with the fear of the public finding out the true sexual identity of their favorite stars.
Many said at the time Ellen had just taken a poison pill in regards to her professional career as a comic and actor. That the life of celebrity which she so enjoyed was over.
But as they say the rest is history.
Perhaps it was the right time for the right person to declare who they are.
Perhaps we as a Country were, although still infants in understanding, able to accept that, yes there are queers that we know, even ones we invite into our home once a week.
Fast forward to today where this writer is five months away from turning 60, is no longer in the closet about being bi, albeit I don't wear it on my sleeve, and Ellen well she's doing just fine thank you very much.
I've seen much over these decades of my life, more than I could ever hope for being LGBT, while we of course still have some miles to go as far as total Equality in regards to law and religion plus total acceptance by the still closed minded.
While laws can be changed, religion and closed minds are another thing, venues of which after awhile it makes no sense to continue to seek change when change in those respects are futile and it makes more sense to change what and who can be.
You can't change the spots of a leopard, to continue to try is a waste of time and energy.
Over the past couple of months I conducted my own "social experiment" by inviting folks I work with to "friend" me on Facebook ... most would probably LMAO at now finding they have been part of an experiment. That experiment has proved one thing which I have written about several times over these past six years of writing.
I'm the same person you knew before you found out.
All, some probably twenty or so by now, have not changed their outward ways to me at work, and more importantly none have "unfriended" me on Facebook.
It could be said it's because of my age, the fact many are from a younger generation who are more "accepting" or it could just be that perhaps finally in the grand scheme of things, who cares.
As the old cigarette slogan went, for Ellen, myself and countless others, "you've come a long way baby".

Dave Agema The Faggot Conspiracy
So we have this filthy douche bag (thanks to Queerty for the photo) in Michigan who believes there is a great conspiracy to turn children into flaming faggots in school.
Dave Agema a member of the Republican National Committee has expounded the notion because the gays are taking over civilized US society with their wanting of same-sex marriage and .... aghast .. Equality.
Agema a former member of the Michigan House of Representatives let loose with a posting on his FaceButt .. uh pardon .. his FaceBook laying (Oh Myyyy) into the homosexuals and their agenda to impose all things Rainbowey in school systems and teachings which will turn students into wanton dick and pussy loving faggots and faglets.
He has said schools should teach that homosexuals are likely to live 20 years less because of their unholy lifestyle and that already faggot slanting students should be warned of all the diseases they will contract.
So outrageous are the rants of Agema, who is handsome enough to grace any gay photo calendar, that his fellow Republicans have pretty much said "just shut the fuck up !! and get the fuck out !!!"of the Party.
You can read more at GayStarNews.
Pity this pretty boy prefers a big pussy instead of a big prick.
But as we know with politicians there is always hope they will find their true self and then greatly apologize for how they slandered the "filthy" faggots during another time in their anti-gay life.

GLAAD To Honor Bill Clinton WTF !
To show yet again just how screwed up and cliquish GLAAD is, it has been announced the Elite org will give former POTUS William Jefferson Clinton the group's newly created "Advocate For Change" award at ceremonies in Los Angeles later this month.
"President Clinton's support of the LGBT community and recognition that DOMA, the so-called Defense of Marriage Act, is unconstitutional and should be struck down shows that the political landscape continues to change in favor of LGBT equality," GLAAD's Wilson Cruz said in a statement on the group's website. "Leaders and allies like President Clinton are critical to moving our march for equality forward."
That according to a presser from GLAAD as posted at Huff Post.
This the same man who gave us DOMA and DADT under his watch.
This the same org which honored Anderson Cooper but only after he came out as gay.
GLAAD the favorite organization of proctologists.
